Laboratory Countertop Materials
Epoxy Resin Countertops are molded into a solid jet-black casting combining outstanding strength with chemical and thermal shock resistance. Several hours of high temperature curing develops maximum physical strength and chemical resistance. Available thicknesses of 3/4" and 1".
Phenolic Core is a high pressure monolithic laminate designed specifically for laboratory work surfaces. Phenolic core has the ability to outperform most laboratory countertops. Wherever chemical or stain resistance combined with superior physical characteristics is a priority, Phenolic core should be considered. Available in 3/4" and 1".
Laminated Plastic Countertops are built up of plastic sheet in standard colors bonded with water-resistant adhesive to a 1 1/8" thick solid core particle board. All exposed edges are bonded with the same material as the top surface providing a top thickness of 1 1/4". Also available in chemical resistant finish.
Stainless Steel Countertops, curbs and reagent shelves are fabricated of 16-gauge, Type 302, 304 or 316 with a #4 Finish. Not available in Quick Ship.
